Thomas graduated from the University of Windsor with an Honours Bachelor of Commerce in 1996. After graduation, he joined IG Wealth Management and has recently celebrated his 24th anniversary with IG. Clients benefit from the more than two decades of financial planning experience and insight he shares as he builds holistic financial plans that are synchronized with every aspect of their lives.

Listening is his greatest strength. Thomas often quotes his father’s favorite saying: "We were given two ears and one mouth, and we should use them proportionately."

Our team believes that each family we work with has their own vision of success and it is this unique set of goals that we must work towards every day.

Thomas is married to Bernadette and they are proud parents to three growing adolescents – Jessica Rose, Thomas Jr. (fraternal twins) and Cole. Their children’s daily active curriculum keeps both Thomas and Bernadette very busy (rep. soccer and provincial rugby, amid other activities).

As a father and a business owner, Thomas understands the universal problem of too little time in a day. He takes ownership of managing clients' personal finances so they can stay focused on what they do best in their business and at home, without the stress of worrying about their financial situation. Rod earned his Honours Bachelor of Science and MBA degrees from Queens University. Rod also holds the Certified Management Accountant (CMA), CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER^® (CFP) and Certified Executive Advisor designations.

Rod is our resident tax expert and helps business owners and professionals work through comprehensive yearly tax plans. With over 30 years in the financial services industry, Rod’s experience leads clients through a wide scope of foundational knowledge throughout the planning process. Balanced judgement and patience are just two of the strengths he brings to strong client relationships in our Milton, Ontario office.
